In Egypt, there are 13 million Egyptians who search monthly for information about health and healthcare services on the internet. However, there is no source of trusted original Arabic content from doctors. Moreover, there is only 15% of hospitals that have websites due to the high cost of development and maintenance which leads to lack of information about healthcare services online.
ElDacatra.com (The Doctors) is a digital healthcare startup aiming at improving the level of healthcare services, access to healthcare services information and spreading health awareness. The technology solution enables patients to review the level of healthcare services they receive at the facility through tailored KPIs for each specialty and facility type. This feedback is structured into simple and usable interface to enable doctors and hospitals to improve the level of services they deliver through patients feedback. (Waiting time, patients' communication, etc...). We have gathered 4,000 patients' reviews so far. The solution also enables doctors to publish simple awareness articles and videos for the patients to lead better healthy lives and know when to seek medical examination. Our currently published articles and videos tackle many topics like how to control diabetes, importance of breastfeeding, birth control methods, how to identify early symptoms of autism and many others. All from trusted known physicians in Arabic to the mass audience. The articles got over 50,000 article reads.
Our technology solution also enables doctors and hospitals to add all their structured information about their services and practices which saves patients' time, money and effort that are often wasted till they reach the services they are looking for. 40% of patients buy their medical services in private hospitals and doctors. We currently have 70,000 monthly users who reach the needed information on our website.
Goal and purpose of the project:

- Elevating the level of healthcare services through structured patients' feedback
- Saving patients' time and money through easy access to healthcare services information

Motivation of the applicant / applicant team:
Our team have personally experienced the market gaps and problems through trying to reach healthcare services information or educating ourselves about proper healthy living for us and our families. Our team expertise cover all needed project aspects from programming to marketing. We also have a medical board of advisers.
We believe that we can create a huge social impact while remaining sustainable and scalelable to many markets
Use of prize money:
The prize money will create the following impact:
1- Reaching 400,000 more people to read the articles and watch the awareness videos which will significantly impact the way they and their families lead their lives
2- Doubling the number of doctors and hospitals registered on our website to enable easier access to information for patients
3- Collecting 2,000 more patients' reviews through intensive online campaigns
