Culture for peace
The Institute of Foreign Relations (ifa) promotes cultural exchange, regarding this as life-enriching.
Cultures can be contradictory constructs, always changing, yet with a tendency to remain the same; permeable, on one hand, and exclusive, on the other. The Institute of Foreign Relations (ifa) engages with this diversity of cultures, with their capacity to act for the better and their potential for conflict. The means used are exchange, dialogue and long-term collaboration. Supported by the Federal Foreign Office, the State of Baden-Württemberg and the City of Stuttgart, ifa networkers pursue the principle: “Working for peace through cultural exchange”.
