In 2015 Germany and Israel will celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations.
CREATIVE SYMBOL. In the year 2015 Germany and Israel will celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations. During the German-Israeli government consultations in Jerusalem in February 2014, Federal Chancellor Merkel and Prime Minister Netanyahu presented the logo for the festive year. It was designed by a German-Israeli team of students and recalls the symbol for infinity – a wonderful image for ongoing relations. It was selected by a jury from among 18 submissions.
