Cutting, grinding, filing and polishing – dozens of work steps are involved in the production of every one of the splendid pieces from Germany’s tradition-steeped silver manufactories. For 140 years and longer, the finest cutlery and coffee and tea sets have been made in north German silver manufactories like Wilkens (since 1810), Koch & Bergfeld (since 1829) and Robbe & Berking (since 1874).
