Studying how to make the world a better place
Social entrepreneurship: using an entrepreneurial spirit to develop solutions to societal problems. We present four courses of study.
Munich: Bachelor's degree in Management of Social Innovations
Complex challenges such as climate change can only be successfully met with innovations. Not only technical innovations but also social innovations are required. The Bachelor's degree course in Management of Social Innovations at the Munich University of Applied Sciences teaches students how to stimulate, manage and evaluate these innovations. The acquired knowledge is then implemented in projects.
Lüneburg: Bachelor's degree course in International Business Administration & Entrepreneurship
The Bachelor's degree course in International Business Administration & Entrepreneurship at Leuphana University Lüneburg teaches students how to act in an entrepreneurial but socially responsible way. In addition to classic disciplines like accounting and marketing, the curriculum here also features sustainability and ethics. The students learn to think in an entrepreneurial way and 'out of the box'. The course is in English.
Eichstätt-Ingolstadt: Master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation
What does it take to start a business? What are the prerequisites for innovation and how do they have a positive effect? These issues are at the heart of the master's degree course in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. Focusing on sustainability and ethical responsibility, the course combines business-management theory and practice. Students can exchange ideas with founders at an early stage and help shape innovative social projects.
Berlin: Master's degree in Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability
You can study innovation management and entrepreneurship in the middle of Berlin's lively startup scene. The English-language Master's degree course in Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability at the Technische Universität Berlin teaches basic knowledge that can also be helpful for success as a social entrepreneur. On the course, students benefit from an alumni network. And perhaps some of them will even launch a startup themselves afterwards.
