Project description:

Smart Guard is a wearable product which alarm people in emergency cases. It could be in sync with your heart beats, blood pressure and adrenaline then assigning a contact for emergency cases and that contact would be alerted once you face dangerous effects. It works under special circumstances like high heart beat and adrenaline, Running, kidnapping, screaming, fire or explosions. When you face one of the previous effects, Smart Guard will record what happens for few seconds , find the accident’s location and automatically connect the contact that is stored and you will find one who can help.

I started to work on my project since 7 months and doing some researches to know how much is important to have such like a technology or is there any relevant technology or something similar already existed in the markets?! when I make sure that there is nothing like that in the market i have the passion to go on more steps with it to have as a product.

My plan is to have this wearable as smart watch, smart Jewelry in the beginning and see if we can develop it to have it then as a smart clothes and so on.

My next step was to look for the gaps in smart Guard and trying to find the solutions. part of this step was imagining myself again in emergency case like kidnapping and start to ask myself some questions:

1. What if i have a high heart beat and adrenaline but i'm in a safe situation? or what if i'm running to catch the train? so it might be as a gap to let Smart Guard work automatically! The Answer is: simply if you are aware and in a safe situation, you can control the device and stop it.
2. What if some one noticed the device while i'm kidnapping and tried to remove it? The Answer is: It will be secure by locking it through password or finger print.
3. What if there is no internet connection at the moment of the accident? The Answer is: The record will be saved in the memory and once it catch a network, the record will be sent automatically. Also, many people talking right now about an alternative solution like the availability of building a network in case of disconnection.

Goal and purpose of the project:

• According to NYA international studies: 19 countries are considered as dangerous because of kidnapping.
• An Article Belong to the Guardian: At least 11,000 people disappeared in Syria, but the true number may be much higher.
• According to UNHCR Studies:45 Million people need protection because of kidnapping.
• Its important to protect all people: children, women, handicaps, men and politicians.

After all these researches i believe that Smart Guard will be the best solution for crisis, war and dangerous region, also, its perfect for the daily accidents.

Motivation of the applicant / applicant team:

Most of the innovations in the whole world innovated because of our need for it.. many of them also created after being in a bad experience . and this is also what motivated me. i had that bad experience of missing many of my relatives and best friends, they have been missed during the Syrian Crisis without know any details, just suddenly they disappeared. Then when i moved to Germany and met international people,I figured out that this is an international problem , some cases because of kidnapping or other criminal cases. almost several times per month i read that someone has been missed and their families are looking for them! day by day im believing more in Smart Guard . I believe too that we are "as youth" responsible about making this world better.

Use of prize money:

The prize will take the expenses to improve Smart Guard and try to cover as much as the wearable devices.
